CHAIRMAN
Kayode Lambo is a Banking and Aviation professional. He commenced his working life as a professional pilot with the largest charter company in Nigeria, servicing the oil-rich Niger Delta region on a daily basis, by safely ferrying oil rig workers and equipment.
In 1983 he commenced his banking career and has worked in various capacities, culminating at the Federal Government’s AssetRecovery Corporation, from where he semi-retired in 2016. During his time at this corporation, he occupied a number of positions; at one time, he was tasked and sent to manage the assets of an oil drilling company.
He graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (1978; B.Sc. Aviation Maintenance Management, A.Sc. Aviation Management), Sierra Academy of Aeronautics (1979; Professional Pilots Licenses), and University of Lancaster, Bailrigg (1983; M.A. Systems In Management). In 1979, in fulfilment of his National Youth Service Call Up, he served as a Powerplant Development Engineer at Nigeria Airways, Ikeja Airport.
During his working career, he attended many courses including Chase Bank Credit Seminars, Grindlays Bank, India Credit Training, Financial Institutions Training (Nigeria) on Export Finance, American Express Bank (New York) Credit Orientation work experience, and University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business’ Strategic Business Leadership course.
He is currently involved in a number of varied initiatives and concentrates mostly on consultancy services.
Group Managing Director
Idris Ibrahim is a distinguished entrepreneur and philanthropist, serving as the Group Managing Director & CEO of Canary Holdings. With over 15 years in finance and investment, he has built a strong network of successful businesses, including Assets Microfinance Bank, Swift and Allied Partners, Nairagram LLC, Canary Finance Limited, and Juice Global LLC, operating across multiple countries.
With deep expertise in Oil & Gas and risk management, Idris has led these ventures to sustained success. Under his leadership, Canary Holdings has expanded its portfolio, delivering top- tier financial and investment services. Beyond business, he actively supports startups and economic growth through philanthropy.
His leadership is defined by vision, integrity, and innovation. As a partner at JUICE LLC, he continues to drive financial service innovation and investment expansion. Idris Ibrahim’s legacy is one of entrepreneurship, innovation, and philanthropy, making a lasting impact on businesses and communities alike.
Group Executive Director
Tolu Oke, a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and a certified HR Professional is the Group Executive Director at Canary Point Limited where she serves as a Strategic Business Partner, supporting the business to align its people, processes, and performance in order to achieve its bottom line.
She holds a Bachelors degree from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, an MBA from the University of Surrey, UK, and a Master's degreein Psychology from the University of Wolverhampton, UK
With over thirty years of post-graduation work experience in various sectors,she has a passion for developing and mentoring younger ones and also serves as a Director with the Canary Foundation which focuses on supporting the underprivileged to achieve their educational dreams and aspirations.
Non-Executive Director
Frank Atat has 18+ years of experience in Payment operations Management, delivering continuous people and process improvement by persistent collaboration across multiple lines of business and service teams.
He is currently the Divisional Head, Payment & Solutions at First City Monument Bank where he leads new initiatives on product development, deployment, and marketing targeted at retailing SMEs.
Prior to that, he was the Divisional Head, eBusiness at Providus Bank Limited where he designed, implemented, and executed an automated open architecture infrastructure that allows fintech and other tech partners to connect/integrate seamlessly to offer related financial services to their end users. He has also served as the Head, Virtual Banking and Remittance at First City Monument Bank, Lagos, Head, Alternate Payment Channel of Skye Bank Plc, Lagos, and Head, Electronic Products Unit at Equitorial Trust Bank Plc, Lagos. He holds a BSc in Sociology and Anthropology, from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, and a certificate in Digital Transformation from Imperial College Business School. A certificate in the digital age from Harvard Business School. He is also an alumnus of the Lagos Business School.
Non-Executive Director
Gbeminiyi is a seasoned Legal Practitioner with solid and progressive experience in all facets of Corporate and Commercial Law Practice. She began her career 10 years ago in a law firm in Lagos and is currently the managing director of Structure HQ, a company that provides corporate and commercial solutions for individuals and innovative businesses.
Before becoming the managing director of Structure HQ, Gbeminiyi Shoda joined VFD Group Plc in 2015 providing leadership and directions to the Legal, Compliance, and Company secretariat departments across diverse sectors.
Gbeminiyi is a member of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Section of Business Law, Nigerian Bar Association (SBL, NBA), Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN), Institute of Directors (IOD), and a sponsored individual of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Non-Executive Director
Iyinoluwa “E” Aboyeji, OON is currently the Founding Partner of Future Africa, Africa’s largest seed stage investor which has invested millions ofdollars into over hundred startups across Africa. Prior to that he co-founded two of Africa’s seven unicorns; Andela and Flutterwave.
Iyinoluwa has served his country as the youngest member of Nigeria’s Presidential Council on Industrial Policy and Competitiveness and has been recognized as one of the youngest recipients of a national award as the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON).
He has been recognized as a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and a Forbes 30 under 30 honoree amongst other awards and fellowships.
Non-Executive Director
Temidayo Obisan obtained in B.Sc in Economics from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State, and M.Sc inBusiness and Financial Economics from the University of Greenwich, London. He also recently obtained his Ph.D from the Swiss School of Business Research, Switzerland.
Until recently, he was an Executive Commissioner (Operations) at the Securities and Exchange Commission, Nigeria where he managed and led the Commission’s activities in core technical areas of its operations. He has served as the Managing Director of Greenwich Asset Management Limited, leading the corporate strategy and business growth of the Company. He also worked at Afrinvest (West Africa) Limited in a managerial capacity and also served as anInvestment Officer at Denham Management Limited.
He is the Former President of Fund Managers Association of Nigeria, a Fellow of the Association of Investment Advisers and Portfolio Managers, and, a Certified Member of the Institute of Directors.
